About the Game

Bus Jam: Parking Escape is a color sorting puzzle set in a packed parking lot. Passengers in bright colors stand in a crowd, buses pull up one by one, and your job is to get every rider onto the right bus without blocking the exit. It's a free browser game, so you can play online on desktop or mobile with no download.

It looks relaxed. It isn't always. The first few levels teach you the rules gently, and then the lot gets tighter, the crowd gets messier and a single careless tap can leave you stuck with nowhere to put anyone.

How to Play

Tap a passenger and they walk out of the crowd. If the bus at the stop matches their color, they board. If it doesn't, they step into the waiting zone, a small row of spots near the curb.

A bus leaves once it's full, and the next one rolls in.
Passengers in the waiting zone hop on automatically when their color arrives.
Some riders are boxed in by others and can't move until the path ahead clears.
If the waiting zone fills up and nobody can board, the level is over.

The whole game comes down to one question: who can you send right now without filling the waiting zone with the wrong colors?

Controls (desktop / mobile)

Desktop: click a passenger to send them out of the crowd. Click a booster button to use it.
Mobile: tap a passenger. Boosters sit in a bar below the lot, within easy thumb reach.

Game Features

30 handmade levels. Each one adds a new layout, more colors or a tighter crowd.
Extra slot. Opens one more spot in the waiting zone when you're about to run out of room.
Undo. Takes back your last move. Handy when you tap the wrong rider.
Shuffle. Mixes up the crowd so new passengers end up at the front.
Continue. Keep going after the waiting zone fills instead of restarting the level.
Level unlocks. From level 2 onward, new levels open as you move through the map.

Tips & Tricks

Read the queue first. Before you tap, check which bus is at the stop and which colors are free to move.
Treat the waiting zone like cash. Every spot you fill is a spot you can't use later. Only park riders there when you know their bus is coming soon.
Free the blockers. If a group of the right color is trapped behind two other riders, moving those two first can pay off.
Count the seats. Buses carry a fixed number of riders. If you can see you'll be one short, plan where the extra passenger goes.
Save Undo for real mistakes. It's tempting to use it every time, but it's more valuable late in a hard level.
