About the Game

Candy Match 3 is a match 3 puzzle game filled with bright, shiny sweets and a sneaky amount of strategy. Swap two candies next to each other, line up three or more of the same kind, and watch them pop. Every level gives you a goal and a limited number of moves, so each swap counts. It's a free browser game, so you can play online on desktop or mobile with no download.

The early levels feel like pure candy-popping fun. Later on, you'll find yourself staring at the board for a full minute before making a move, hunting for the one swap that sets off a chain.

How to Play

1. Check the level goal at the top, such as collecting a set number of one candy or clearing jelly tiles.
2. Swap two neighboring candies to make a line of three or more.
3. Matched candies disappear, new ones fall in from above, and chain reactions can follow.
4. Reach the goal before you run out of moves to win.

Controls (desktop / mobile)

• Desktop: click a candy, then click the one next to it to swap. You can also click and drag.
• Mobile: swipe a candy toward the one you want to swap it with.

If a swap doesn't make a match, the candies slide back and you don't lose a move.

Game Features

• 40 levels. Goals change from level to level, and new blockers show up as you go.
• Special candies. Match four in a row for a striped candy that clears a line. Match five for a candy that clears every piece of one color. Match in an L or T shape for an exploding wrapped candy.
• Move limits. Every level has a set number of moves, which turns a casual game into a real puzzle.
• +5 extra moves. Out of moves but close to the goal? Add five more and finish the job.
• Boosters. Start a level with a power-up already on the board, or clear a single stubborn candy.
• Level unlocks. Open the next level and keep moving across the map.

Tips & Tricks

• Match from the bottom. Swaps near the bottom of the board shift more candies, which makes chain reactions more likely.
• Read the goal before every move. A pretty combo that doesn't help the goal is a wasted move.
• Build specials on purpose. Look for chances to line up four or five instead of taking the first three-match you see.
• Combine special candies. Swapping two specials into each other creates a much bigger blast.
• Keep extra moves for the end. They're most useful when you're two or three pieces away from the goal.
