About the Game

Cookie Tap Idle is an idle clicker game about turning one lonely cookie into a full-blown baking empire. You start by tapping a giant cookie by hand. Soon you're hiring helpers, buying ovens and watching the numbers climb on their own. It's a free browser game, so you can play online whenever you have a spare minute, with no download.

This is a game you check in on rather than sit with. Tap for a bit, spend your cookies, close the tab, come back later to a pile of new ones. It's relaxing in a very particular way: there's always one more upgrade just out of reach.

How to Play

Tap the big cookie. Each tap bakes cookies.
Spend cookies on upgrades. Some make each tap worth more, others bake cookies automatically every second.
Keep buying. Prices go up with each purchase, but so does your income.
Hit the goal for your current stage to move on to the next one.

There's no fail state. The only question is how fast you grow.

Controls (desktop / mobile)

Desktop: click the cookie to bake. Click an upgrade in the shop panel to buy it.
Mobile: tap the cookie. The shop opens from the bottom of the screen.

On mobile you can tap with two fingers for faster baking.

Game Features

Stages instead of levels. Each stage has a cookie goal. Reach it and you unlock new upgrades and a bigger kitchen.
Upgrade tree. Tap upgrades, automatic bakers and multipliers that stack on top of each other.
Offline income. Your bakery keeps working while you're away. Come back to cookies waiting.
×2 boost for 60 seconds. Doubles your baking speed for a full minute.
Double offline income. When you return, you can collect twice what your bakery made while you were gone.
×3 stage bonus. Triple the reward for clearing a stage.

Tips & Tricks

Automate early. Tapping feels good, but your first few auto-bakers matter more than tap upgrades.
Buy the cheapest efficient upgrade. Compare how many cookies per second each one adds for its price. The cheaper one often wins.
Stack the ×2 boost with tapping. Turn it on, then tap hard for sixty seconds. That's when it pays off most.
Check back before bed. Spend everything before you leave so your offline income starts from a higher rate.
Use the ×3 bonus on bigger stages. The later the stage, the bigger the reward it multiplies.

Cookie Tap Idle rewards small, regular visits more than long sessions. A minute here and there adds up fast.
